Andrew is an Adjunct Researcher at the University of Beira Interior in Portugal, and an Adjunct at the University of Notre Dame Australia in Australia. He has an in-depth knowledge of the Health and Physical Education curriculum and assessment and an extensive background in exercise science and high-performance swimming.
Over the last 4 years, Andrew has been actively involved in research with colleagues from the University of Beria Interior, facilitating collaboration with researchers in Australia.
His current research focuses on evidence-based educational pedagogy, assessment methodologies, and pediatric exercise science, particularly in physical education. His work explores the effects of various delivery methods for plyometric training on children’s motor skills, muscular fitness and self-perception, aiming to enhance learning outcomes and promote a shared understanding of sports science and education.
