Catarina Rondão is a senior Technician at Fundão City Council, where she coordinates the Memo_Move and Longevidade + programmes, focused on active ageing, health innovation and community impact. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Beira Interior and has a PhD in Sports Sciences (UBI, since 2024), with research into clinical exercise, neurodegenerative diseases and ageing.
She also leads Memo_Move – Experimentarorium da Longevidade, a Fundão City Council project developed in partnership with UBI, which received an Honourable Mention for Best Project at the 4th AGE.COMM Congress (2025).
President and coach of Grupo Desportivo de Valverde, she is also the district coach for futsal and beach football. With numerous scientific publications and international presentations, Catarina has received several honours, including the ANGES Golden Merit Award (2025). Her work bridges the gap between science, sport and social innovation to promote health, inclusion and longevity.
