Pedro Duarte-Mendes is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Castelo Branco (IPCB) since 2008, focusing on motor behavior, physical activity, and health. He holds a BSc in Physical Education, a Physiotherapy degree, an MSc in Physical Activity, and a PhD in Sports Sciences, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Beira Interior (UBI). He coordinated a physiotherapy clinic and the health department at a sports club. He teaches Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology in coaching courses for the Portuguese Football Federation. He is Vice-President of the Tennis Association of Castelo Branco. His research includes projects and publications indexed in Web of Science and SCOPUS. He has presented at international and national congresses and supervised PhD and MSc students from various institutions.
