CIDESD Leiria hub researchers distinguished with IDI Awards

The Polytechnic of Leiria has distinguished several researchers from the CIDESD hub with the IDI – Research, Development and Innovation Awards, which annually recognise scientific production across different areas of knowledge, based on international publications.
In the field of Life and Health Sciences, Filipe Rodrigues was awarded 2nd place and Raúl Antunes 3rd place, confirming the quality and impact of the research developed in this area.
In the field of Social Sciences and Humanities, the CIDESD hub at the Polytechnic of Leiria secured all three awards: Diogo Monteiro achieved 1st place, Miguel Jacinto 2nd place, and Rui Matos 3rd place, highlighting the consistency and scientific leadership of the team.
In addition to the individual distinctions, the CIDESD hub at the Polytechnic of Leiria was also awarded 1st place in the category for Research Units (UI), ranking at the top among the 17 Research Units of the Polytechnic of Leiria.
These awards further reinforce the role of CIDESD and its Leiria hub as a reference in research in Sport Sciences, Life and Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities, contributing to the national and international recognition of the scientific output developed within this institution.
